![]() so as say a necromancer you have limited use for the stairs, since your poison clod, lifespike and the poison damage from your staff are all gone when you get back The one disadvantage is that poison on enemies, lifespike and other temorpary effects are gone the moment you take the stairs. ![]() When you come back you also notice that they dont see you (yet) wich means you can autocrit on your first attack(since last update only if you have the rogue skill). in addition on the other level you have time to prepare: eat mushrooms to recover. Stairs can be a lifesaver: the move you take to get onto them does NOT give your enemies a move, wich means you get one bonus move by stepping onto the stairs and immediately moving back. **Stairs stairs my kingdom for some stairs** once that group has been dealt with feel free to wake up the other group (if you want to fight it) When you see more than one group of enemies that havent noticed you, and the total is too tough, you can often wake up just one group with a dart or other ranged attack without the need to get dangerously close to the other group. ![]() **Let sleeping dogs lie (or bats for that matter)** Use the time this buys you to get to safety (fountains, chests and other features like pillars can block attack lines while your sight is not blocked) they can be a lifesaver against ranged. however they can also help you: if you cant kill them fast, get enemy units between them and you and they will shoot their friends in the back.
